Description

Honeywell SPM Flex Chemcassette -S XP Hydrides

1265-4000 Honeywell Analytics SPM Flex Chemcassette -S XP Hydrides

Up to 2 weeks of continuous monitoring of Hydride gases AsH3, PH3, B2H6, SiH4, GeH4, H2Se, and H2S.

The field-swappable Chemcassettes for the Honeywell SPM Flex Tape-Based Monitor use advanced tape technology to show the presence of a target gas quickly and definitively with a physical record. Chemcassette technology is highly specific and reacts extremely fast to the presence of parts per billion (ppb) levels of many hazardous gases.

Each Chemcassette is manufactured to traceable ISO 9000 manufacturing standards by a world class team of highly trained chemists and each batch is calibrated with ultra pure gas that is traceable to nationally accepted standards. This means that the end user does not have to provide calibration facilities themselves thereby saving cost and reducing risks to their own staff.

Outside of RH range:

3 Tends to have lower response at higher humidities
4 Tends to increase sensitivity at higher humidities (due to the chemistry of the reaction)
5 Tends to under report at higher humidities (typically >75%RH) due to the gas characteristics to adhere or decompose on contact with water/moisture. The response seems to be lower but the actual gas concentration under these high humidity conditions will be lower than expected.
6 Tends to under report in dry conditions (<25-30% RH).
7 Depending on the combination of temperature and humidity, even within the ranges specified above, a unit's performance efficiency can be influenced due to condensation, physical tape material changes, or optical changes. Consult Honeywell Analytics Service Department.
8 Refer to Tech Notes 971131 (Chemcassette -base Instrument Accuracy and Precision) and 1998-0219 (Protocol for Testing Gas Detectors)
