Extraction Room Gas Monitoring Bundle- Gas Controller and 1-4 Gas Transmitter(s) Points of Detection

In the Extraction process, the release of combustible gases (Propane, Butane or Ethanol) into the area could occur. A combustible or "LEL" gas monitor in the area helps to insure protection from a fire or explosion.

The easy to install Extraction Room Gas Monitoring Bundle includes Combustible Gas Monitor(s) suitable for C1D1 (Class I Division 1) environments and a Controller for use in Class I, Div 2 areas.

The BFT-44 Gas Monitor is capable of monitoring Propane, Butane or Ethanol (depending on the calibration gas used). The transmitter is in a 3 wired aluminum housing, is CSA Certified for Class I, Div 1 explosion proof installations, with 4-20mA outputs that communicate with the Controller.

The BFC-4 Controller is a central point of monitoring and control. Certified to CSA C22.2 NO. 152 for combustible detection and Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B,C and D. Capable of up to four (4) gas monitors can be connected to provide supervisory readings of the gas levels at remote monitors in various rooms. The on board relays in the controller can turn exhaust fans on/off, signal fire panel or sound alarms to indicate combustible (LEL) levels are sensed per local codes. The Controller includes up to four 4-20 mA Transmitters, 3 adjustable independent alarm levels per channel, and six (6) Programmable Relays.

An optional General Purpose Red Strobe & 100db Horn is available.
