RAM 744 Respiratory Airline Monitor Instruments with Complete Filter Panel

The RAM 744 monitor is designed to satisfy OSHA monitoring requirements for Grade "D" breathing air. Utilizing a EC sensor, the monitor alerts the user to excessive carbon monoxide levels that enter the airline system. Operating from a 110V AC or 9 V battery power source, this unit is able to activate optional devices like an air horn that is safe in explosive environments such as paint booths. A simple calibration system, alarm contacts and compact size make the RAM 744 ideal for many applications. The design of the RAM 744 requires mounting with a GfG 25, 50 or 100 CFM airline filter system.

The Instrumentation Air Breathing Line Instruments satisfy the requirements of OSHA rule 29 CFM 1910.134 (d) (2) (ii) for carbon monoxide monitoring. They will also monitor Grade E air which is generally specified for breathing air in cylinders (SCBA).
The Wall Mounted RAM 744 encloses the three stage 25, 50 or 100 CFM filter panels with the RAM 744 monitor all on a wall mountable panel. Both the 25 CFM and 50 CFM have a single male quick connect inlet and female quick connect outlets (2 for 25CFM, 4 for 50CFM, 8 for 100CRM). A mounted On/Off switch, alarm light, and horn make the operation and monitoring of the system convenient. The CO monitor is powered by a rechargeable NiCad battery pack or optional 110VAC power adapter.
The RAM-744 is an inline, respiratory air monitor for protection from carbon monoxide in compressor supplied breathing air. This instrument should be used to continuously monitor for carbon monoxide in the compressor supplied breathing air. Random sampling only checks the air at that moment. It is possible for any air compressor to draw carbon monoxide in via the air intake at any time. The RAM-744 will operate continuously and provide both a visual and audio alarm if carbon monoxide levels exceed the pre-set alarm level. An auxiliary relay allows for the connection of a remote device.
